Disposable Tourniquet

Now in medicine, "one needle, one tube, one cloth and one belt" is advocated, because in our infusion or blood draw, it is entirely possible because of the possibility of touching the wound during the operation of the tourniquet, although it is small, but for safety. For the sake of it, everyone is still safer to use the disposable tourniquet.
Instructions
1.The tourniquet is preferably a rubber band or a rubber tube. It is not advisable to use an inelastic tape such as a tape or a wire. The ligature position should be above the wound (near the heart) and as close as possible to the wound. The upper 1/3 of the upper arm and the upper middle part of the thigh are good.
The calf and forearm cannot be on the tourniquet because there are two bones and the blood vessels are just right. Walking between the two bones, the upper tourniquet does not act to compress the blood vessels. The middle third of the upper arm can also not stop the blood band, because it may cause nerve damage and cause arm paralysis.
2. After selecting the site of the tourniquet, the cloth should be placed in the place, the tourniquet should be tightened, and the limbs should be tied for two weeks. The tightness should be appropriate to observe the wound without bleeding. Remember to take time on the upper tourniquet. Relax every 1 hour in the winter and every hour in the summer for 1 / 2 minutes, then tie it up. When you tie again, you need to move up and down slightly. For patients with major bleeding, they should be sent to the hospital as soon as possible while the tourniquet is on the upper end.
3. Wash the wound with sterile water (water after boiling), and gently find the deep artery with a clean finger and carefully tie the artery with a sterile line. This is the first time an open wound has been touched. If the artery breaks completely, the end may shrink and it will be difficult to find. When you are confident that the artery is in a small piece of tissue, you can use a large needle to sew the entire tissue.
4. Check if the operation is successful, and loosen the bandage to stop bleeding as soon as possible to find out whether the artery that caused the bleeding is just the blood vessel that has been bandaged. If you find that you still bleed, you should immediately re-attach the tourniquet and continue to look for broken blood vessels. There are other small blood vessels in the tissue that provide the blood necessary for the limb to maintain physiological metabolism and maintain circulation.
